Getting Over Relationships

Question on Getting over relationships?
Ok, so my son in college had a break with this girl, he said he loved (and still loves) before he broke college (6 months ago ISH). It is still not happened and I told him simply to defer and again … but He asked me how I had no idea what to say lol Any ideas? PS-when I say My boy, I mean my friend, not the son: P also, I tried have to go out with girls and even put up with some of my dimes for him to get his mind off, but it will not come out.
Your son is stuck in the grief of his loss. It may need some counseling. He needs to change how they think go beyond the past and pain. My husband of 10 years died last June and I attended 13 hours of sadness Share, a group of people who lost someone they love. There I learned to take one day at a time, take time to grieve, and finally live my life. Do not dwell on the past. More involved in school. Find a hobby where we can do something like a musical instrument. Remember to pray for comfort and hope for the future.
